Dexter S2 Eps 12: "The British Invasion". This is the last eps of the season. As much as I do like the show, I believe they could end it with this season. I really don't see a need for a season 3 since I felt that #2 ended fine with me.

NOW on the other hand, beneath the cut are my thoughts about this eps and will do some spoiler drops in regards to the books. Read at your own risk!



*sighs* I don't like the idea of them killing Doakes off. I guess the writers liked Laguerta since they didn't kill her off like Jeff did in the 1st book. Sure, Doakes got fucked up pretty bad in the books and at times, I wish he would've died instead of suffering the way he did, but to kill him off like this in the series just annoys the hell out of me. He made the show amusing whenever he bumped into Dexter.

Nutty bitch Lila got off way too easy by Dexter's hand. Fucker should've cut her up real good for the hell she put him through and those around him.

And with them closing the butcher case, makes me wonder could they possibly do now in the upcoming season?

I don't see this happening but in the books, Rita's kids are like Dexter and Dexter sees this and helps them cope on that killer feeling. Of course the kids became this way from the abuse their father did to them. I hope they don't put this in the tv series cause it's bad enough it felt a bit rushed in the books, I just don't think it'd feel right seeing it acted out.

Now I'm curious as all hell as to what they have plans for in season 3.
